Our Story
Every company wants to use data to make informed decisions, and SQL is the lingua franca for data. However, data collaboration is fundamentally broken. Teams waste countless hours rewriting each other's queries, juggling between multiple applications to visualize their data, and resorting to copying and pasting SQL snippets into Slack or email. Those gaps inspired our product suite—TridaPad for collaborative SQL workspaces and PromptSQL for natural language-to-SQL co-piloting.

TridaPad was born from this frustration, and PromptSQL quickly followed to make AI-assisted query building part of the experience. We envisioned a beautiful, intuitive platform where writing SQL is enjoyable, visualizing data is effortless, and sharing insights is as simple as sharing a link. What we've built so far is just the beginning of this journey.

FounderSuri is a passionate technologist and entrepreneur with a vision to transform how teams collaborate on data. With extensive experience in data engineering and analytics across multiple industries, he witnessed firsthand the inefficiencies plaguing data teams.
Frustrated by the lack of modern, collaborative tools for SQL-based workflows, Suri founded Trida Labs to bridge this gap. His mission is to empower data teams to work more efficiently, share insights seamlessly, and make data-driven decisions faster.
